Ten boats enjoyed great conditions, with northerlies coming in at 12-18 knots, which made for some great sailing. James Jacob was 1st, Jon Deutsch was 2nd and Mike Toms was 3rd. Special kudos to Britt Drake for taking one for the team that day and getting a 2nd mark boat out to help expedite the racing. Also a shout-out to a 1st time Laser racer from Smith Mountain Lake in Roanoke, Matt Robichaud. Matt managed to finish every race, despite numerous flips ,and did not finish last! we look forward to seeing Matt out with us again soon. – Mike Toms
