CBYRA Award Nominations

News

CBYRA is hosting their 2009 High Point Awards Ceremony on February 27 at Herrington Harbour South.  They are looking for nominations for a couple of perpetual trophies:

Outstanding Race Committee:
Awards go to the race committees judged to have conducted the most outstanding races of the 2009 sailing season.

They are also looking for nominations on outstanding bowman… not that many lasers sailors have these.

CBYRA has published their high point standings for the Laser Radial Juniors.

CBYRA Laser High Point

The 2002 CBYRA High Point scores have been calculated for the Laser class. 12 sailors qualified. Congratulations go out to Luke Shingledecker. He gets his name engraved on the big old pewter bowl. If you don’t see your name on the list it’s probably because (A) you aren’t a member of CBYRA (B) you sailed in too few events or (C) some of the events you may have sailed in did not get their results to CBYRA or myself.

Awards for the top 5 will be handed out at the CBYRA High Point Ceremony in February.
