Steve Cockerill is coming to SSA on Wednesday, April 5. The presentation will start at 6:30 PM sharp. We will serve a light meal, starting at 6 PM, and refreshments will be included. We will finish up around 9:30 or 10.
Steve and Rooster sailing have produced a series of instructional DVD’s, called the “Boat Whisperer” series, relating to boathandling, technique, tactics and boat setup. Steve Cockerill has many World, European, and National titles to his credit in both single and doublehanded classes, but it is his ability to pass on knowledge that makes his Boat whisperer presentation excellent. Steve’s talk would cover similar topics, but would not specific to any boat type. As a result, the talk would be highly appropriate for Laser, Opti, and doublehanded dinghy sailors.
Though sponsored by fleet 10, this event will be open to everyone. Spread the word, and bring anyone you know who might be interested. To defray costs, we will be charging a fee, reduced for Fleet 10 members. For more information contact Luke Shingldecker.
