2021 Rehoboth Bay SA Laser Regatta Results

The weather for the Laser regatta turned out picture perfect. But thanks to the weather man who predicted rain all day we ended up with a small fleet. The moral of the story is don’t listen to the weather man because most of the time he is wrong!

With the exception of Scott Williamson who sailed a perfect regatta the competition was very tight. Congrats to Marilyn Spitz on sailing her first Laser regatta.

Thanks to race committee Dave, Marie, Stew and ground crew Brenda & Don for making this a successful event. After racing we all enjoyed pizza and cold beverages.

RBSA Laser/Sunfish Equinox Regatta

UPDATE 9/13 1322: This event has been cancelled due to a death in the family of the organizers.

Organized Laser sailing is returning to Delaware on September 14. Make this regatta a training event for districts regattas and Laser Masters NA’s.  Please come to this “short notice” regatta for an easy day of sailing. Be a part of the “Delaware Laser Revival.”

Rehoboth Bay Sailing Association is located on the Rehoboth Bay as part of the Inland Bays system of the Delmarva Peninsula in Sussex County, next to the Atlantic Ocean. The launch area is a small beach in the shallow bay waters.  The club house features beach town style and wrap around decks. Meet Sunfish sailors who qualified for the Sunfish Worlds to be held nearby at the Lewes Yacht Club.
