SSA Fall Series Moves for Olivia’s Team Racing Invitational

Severn Sailing Association Laser Fleet has moved the first day of their fall series originally scheduled for Saturday, August 24 to Sunday, October 6th.  They did this so the Olivia’s Team Racing Invitational could be held that weekend in benefit of the Olivia Constants Foundation.

From the NOR:

The racing is open to all sailors. We plan on a FUN weekend of exciting racing and the opportunity to support the Olivia Constants Foundation. We will have shore side activities, music (beginning @ 2 pm on Sat.), and food and beverages available throughout the weekend.

A number of Laser sailors have already joined forces and signed up to sail.  Join them for a good time and a great cause.

SSA Fall Series #1 Results

SSA sailed the first of their fall series on Saturday.  Luke Shingledecker put up 2 bullets in two races to win.  David Schoene followed in 2nd and Brady White was 3rd in the 19-boat fleet.  Andrew Schoene led the 4-boat Radial fleet.  Results and more photos by Spinsheet.
