It was windy Sunday. Fourteen people showed up but only 8 made it to the first race. Steve and Kevin set up a windward-leeward on the DC side of the river, adjacent to the airport. By 1pm the wind was 15 from the north gusting to 24 mph and by 2pm it was 22 gusting to 31 mph. Congratulations to James Jacob, Len Guenther, Ken Davis and Justin Pollack who get the Ironman award for racing in all of the races. James took the day with all bullets and Len/Nabeelhad a good day which will bring him up in the overall standings. The day resulted in eleven stiches for one and boats full of water for others (myself included).
